Chinese mobile gamers with tight budget are looking forward to the nearing launch of the Huawei G520.

Back from Las Vegas, where Huawei officially unveiled the upcoming high-end flagships Ascend D2 and Ascend Mate, read more in Huawei Ascend D2 and Ascend Mate Officially Confirmed, the Chinese manufacturer went on to announce a budget mobile casino gambling device created exclusively for the home market – the G520.

The new smartphone will land in the hands of Android casino regulars through the China Mobile outlets. The Huawei G520 is powered by the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and runs of a 1.2GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6589 SoC with 512MB of RAM onboard.

The Huawei G520 packs a 4.5 inch display (possibly WVGA), 5MP snapper with LED flash and a VGA camera on the front panel for video calling and chats. The specs might not look all that impressive, but bear in mind this is a budget smartphone, and the power features seem more than enough to run mobile casino games perfectly.

The best feature of the upcoming smartphone, as usually is the case with Huawei, is the pricing policy. The G520 will be available for 1,399 yuan – roughly $225 – SIM free. We sincerely hope Huawei changes its mind and releases some kind of an international version of the G520.
