The Oppo Find 5 – one of the first smartphones with a 5 inch 1080p display – can already by preordered in China.

The latest craze of 5 inch 1080p display smartphones continues with the Oppo Find 5 going for preorders in its home country – China. The first orders are scheduled to arrive to mobile casino fans on January 29. These will be the 16GB versions of the device, the 32GB ones are expected to come a bit later.

Besides the 5 inch 1080p IPS LCD screen with 441ppi density, the Oppo Find 5 will offer Android casino gamers a 1.5GHz quad-core Krait CPU, Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 13MP snapper, full connectivity suit, and lots of small and useful features.

The smartphone is currently prices at 2,998 yuan (around $480) and is looking to provide some serious competition to the HTC J Butterfly/DROID DNA and the Sony Xperia Z, also sporting the “magical” 5 inch 1080p displays.

The international release of the Oppo Find 5 is also scheduled for the very near future. Elsewhere, the smartphone with 16GBs will cost around $500, and the 32GB version – $570. As for the competition: the HTC DROID DNA is expected to cost $600 in the US (note that the device has an 8MP snapper and 16GB of memory), outside the USA the HTC flagship will be much pricier – $890 in Australia for example. The pricing policy for the Sony Xperia Z is not yet known, but it’s safe to say it will be much higher than that of the Oppo Find 5.
