Blackjack and Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton lookalike Ex burger waitress still plays blackjack for fun.

Just like a fairy-tale come true: English 32-year-old waitress Heidi Agan makes almost $1,000 per appearance as a Kate Middleton lookalike.

The former burger joint employee, making GBP 6 per hour a couple of weeks ago, was often mistaken by customers for the Duchess of Cambridge, and even her three-year-old daughter could not tell the two women apart.

A mother-of-two saw these as a chance to quit her job, and joined the Susan Scott Lookalikes agency in London. The former burger waitress is now fully concentrating on her shows and media appearances.

What only few people know is that, according to her townsfolk, Ms Agan is a clever blackjack player.

Her former job made her able to think fast, and most importantly count fast, two things that are really important when playing blackjack.

However, Ms Agan is a casual player, she visits the British land casinos only every now and then. Maybe once or twice a month she goes online to play a few rounds of cards, but that’s it.

Ex pharmaceutical assistant Kate Bevan also works as a full-time Duchess of Cambridge lookalike. She told the British yellow press: “On the day before the royal wedding I made GBP 3,000 but I was working until midnight and had to be up early the next to appear on Australian television.”

Generally, the demand for Middleton lookalikes was the highest at the time of the royal wedding. Only in Great Britain, there were over 100 more-or-less believable Kate lookalikes working when the real Middleton wed the real Prince. But still, requests keep coming from birthday parties and even bachelor nights.
