LG announced full specification of the Optimus LTE2, which is branded my mobile gamers as the “Galaxy S III” killer.

We have already informed our faithful readers about LG plans for Optimus LTE2 in our LG Optimus LTE2 to Battle Galaxy S III for Mobile Gaming Supremacy article. Today we are able to provide the full specs of the smartphone following an official announcement.

Naturally, the 2GB or RAM are still there, and real money mobile casino players can’t wait to utilize the memory capabilities to the maximum. Other features of the LG Optimus LTE2 include a 4.7 inch TrueHD IPS screen with 720p resolution. A peculiar option is wireless charging support, but you’ll have to pay extra $85 for the charging pad and $33 for the battery cover.

Other specification of the soon-to-be Android casinos star include a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 SoC with a dual-core Krait CPU at 1.5GHz, and Adreno 225 GPU. Naturally, the monster runs on the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and comes with a highly customized UI.

The camera department of the new mobile casino games tool is not bad either: 8MP main snapper with LED flash and a 1.3MP front camera for video calling. On top of the LTE connectivity, the smartphone will offer NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, DLNA, and USB 2.0 with MHL.

The power efficiency is rumored to be improved by up to 40 percent, which will allow the LG Optimus LTE2 to last for up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 255 hours of standby. All this will be take care of by a 2150mAh battery.

The smartphone will start hitting the shelves in South Korea this week with a price of about $800. No word still on the international availability, however.
