The world’s first true octa-core chipset to power smartphones and tablets comes from MediaTek.

MediaTek has finally officially revealed the world’s first true octa-core chipset, expected to power smartphone and tablet mobile casino tamers soon. The new SoC will allow eight cores to run simultaneously, contrary to the Samsung’s variant, where only half of the eight cores can be activated at any given time.

Naturally, the true octa-core processors will dramatically improve performance, user experience, and power efficiency for any device’s operation including mobile casino games performance.

The processing power in the MediaTek SoCs will be allocated to different cores on per-task and per-app basis, providing the ultimate multi-tasking features and experience. The new chipsets will also come with a highly advanced web browsing features, allowing unique ability to allocate individual browser tabs to different cores.

The upcoming CPU will also be able to delegate user input to different cores and render 3D effects smoothly for any application including Android casinos. The processor is to feature multi-threaded programming, improving video framerate processing which will in turn provide highly superior gaming experience.

The Octa processor also sports and highly efficient video playback feature, reducing by up to 18% the battery usage for decoding of HEVC FHD videos. The octa-core SoC will also provide up to 20% more frames when on display mode.

Sadly, there’s no more information about the upcoming processor’s features or its planned release date.
