Mysterious BlackBerry smartphone leaked
Dev Alpha B

A picture of a mysterious BlackBerry smartphone pops up on RIM developer website, sparking hot discussions.

Fans of real money BlackBerry mobile gambling were positively surprised to see a render of an unfamiliar RIM device on the company’s developer site. Rumor has it, the smartphone is named Dev Alpha B, which is a successor to the Dev Alpha which helped developers test the BlackBerry 10 OS.

Naturally, the rendered picture was swiftly removed from the site, but eager BlackBerry casinos fans went on to ask the company’s developers about the device on twitter. Surprisingly, developers responded and said that the device will become an upgrade to the current Dev Alpha.

The question of if the smartphone will actually contain major hardware changes, the second response was given. Apparently, the Dev Alpha B will boast an altered inner layout with the micro SIM card moving to a different location.

The current version of the developer’s mobile casino games tester, Dev Alpha, has a 4.2 inch 1280×768 pixel screen, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in space, a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 chipset, and a microSD card slot.

RIM has already confirmed that the Dev Alpha B will land in developers hands before the BlackBerry 10 OS launches. The brand new OS launch is rumored to bring mobile casino experience on a new level and is said to happen during BlackBerry 10 Jam Americas, a developer event scheduled for San Jose on September 25-27.
