Mobile casinos have been available for standard mobile phones and for other mobile devices like Palms and Blackberries for a number of years now, but are only recently becoming widely available for iPhone and iPod Touch users. One major reason for this is the anti-gambling stance that Apple has taken; they continually refuse to let gambling apps into their App Store.

While few in number, iPhone casinos do exist. The number of mobile game providers moving to the iPhone platform is steadily increasing, and the latest addition is expected to bring iPhone gambling to an even greater number of players.

Probability PLC recently announced the launch of a new line of online casino games for iPhone and iPod Touch users. Three games will be available immediately – roulette, Multi-Hand Blackjack, and a slot game called Poseidon’s Touch. A fourth game, Goldrush slots, will launch soon as well. Customized iPad versions of these games are due out later this year.

The first to get these new games will be a mobile casino called LadyLucks. Other online gambling sites with connections to Probability PLC, such as Paddy Power Casino, may soon offer iPhone and iPad Touch games as well.
