Galaxy Note II set for unveiling date
Galaxy Note II

The Samsung Galaxy Note II is to be officially unveiled at a special event scheduled for August 30.

Following widespread rumors about the Samsung Galaxy Note II, a more official confirmation has been reported by the Korean Digital Daily site. The Korean giant is reported to be planning an Unpacked event specifically for the Galaxy Note II, where mobile casino fans can learn about the new device first-hand.

The event is supposed to take place on August 30, one day before the IFA expo starts in Berlin. We will be following the event closely and report back to Android casino enthusiasts in case they cannot make it to Germany themselves.

Various sources suggest the Note II will be running on a quad-core Exynos chipset, with 13MP snapper and a larger, 5.5 inch screen. It also looks like the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will be powering the new device out-of-the-box, much to the delight of mobile casino games players.

The date seems logical, as the original Samsung Galaxy Note was unveiled at last year’s IFA expo. And it will make perfect sense to introduce the successor to the world exactly one year later.

The Samsung Galaxy Note still remains a powerful device blending the borders between a tablet and a smartphone. Samsung already sold over 7 millions of units worldwide making the device one of the most successful products to date. The successor is expected at least to repeat the record-braking sales figures, if not beat them.
