According to the latest rumors the Samsung Galaxy S III is set to become one of the thinnest smartphones on the market.

The thinner, the better, seems to the popular philosophy behind the current and upcoming smartphones. Fans of mobile casinos will soon have yet another ultra-slim device at their disposal – the Samsung Galaxy S III.

Koreans don’t want to fall behind on the trend and are looking to beat the Motorola RAZR XT910 with its 7.1mm body. Recent rumors suggest the next Samsung flagship will be as thin as 7mm. Slim, but not slim enough: Huawei recently presented Ascend P1 S with a 6.7mm waistline, but would you really be able to tell the difference?

The same source hinted that the Galaxy S III will not be uniform, the same camera elevation found on the S II will also make its way to the successor. Other rumored features excite fans of Android casinos with the talk of the LTE support.

Samsung will reportedly launch as many as seven different variations of the Galaxy S III, with varying specs from 3D display to stylus, everything a modern mobile casino games enthusiast requires. Previous rumors spoke of an 8MP snapper, a quad-core CPU and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.

Other sources already claimed that the Korean giant has started producing S IIIs last October, but we will have to wait until May this year to learn if any of those rumors are true. The closest date for the official announcement seems to be March 22, according to some sources close to the manufacturer.
