Samsung has shipped over 100 million units of its Galaxy S line of devices worldwide, breaking yet another record.

The Samsung Galaxy S series started two and a half years ago, supplying mobile casino gamers with high-quality devices in all price categories ever since. The series has now surpassed a whopping landmark of 100 million units shipped worldwide, and there’s still no stopping the Korean giant.

The Galaxy S series has been a true game changer not only for Samsung, but for Android smartphones in general. Starting with the debut Galaxy S, and including such hits as Galaxy S II, S III, and a range of their modifications and regional adaptations, the series is still going strong promising newer and newer devices for the years to come.

The biggest contributor so far has been the ultra-popular Android casino tamer – the Galaxy S III, comprising over 40 million units in the first 7 months since its launch, and currently shipping over 190,000 units a day. The Samsung Galaxy S II has achieved 40 million shipments in 20 months.

The next flagship – the Galaxy S IV is rumored to be officially released as early as April 2013, and will definitely take the Galaxy S series on a qualitatively new level. Well done, Samsung, we eagerly await brand new creations and revolutionary technologies available to a wide range of buyers.
