In terms of connectivity, the Sony Xperia SP offers all the usual refinements such as Bluetooth, GPS/GLONASS, Wi-Fi, NFC, LTE, and even an MHL-powered microUSB. The smartphone is relatively light at 155g and is made from plastic with an aluminum frame. In line with rumors, there’s a illuminated strip, notifying owners on calls, text, and so on.

With a 2,370mAh battery, the Xperia SP will be able to provide lengthy mobile casino games sessions. The smartphone will be available in black, red, and white starting with Q2, 2013. Pricing policy is yet to be revealed.

Another device, announced at Sony’s Moscow event, was the Xperia L, which is a smaller smartphone with somewhat weaker specifications.
