Mobile betting from Station Casinos

Mobile betting is entering the lives of ordinary punters on more levels every day now, making it more convenient to bet whenever we want to.

Station Casinos LLC, a renowned American offline casino and restaurant operator, has revealed its plans to introduce a mobile sports betting facility for patrons in their 16 venues across Nevada.

The company is operated by Fertitta Entertainment LLC and told casino gambling news that the introduction is following a successful testing of their Sports Connection Mobile. This proprietary technology enables punters to bet on sporting events using just their smartphones and tablet devices.

Station Casino is not the first one to introduce such a service: Cantor Gaming and Wagering as well as William Hill are already present on the Nevada mobile sportsbook market with their iPhone and iPad gambling apps. However, Station Casino is confident they possess a winning perk: connection to loyalty program, which allows players to earn points for betting, which can later be redeemed in-house for prizes and cash.

Art Manteris, Station Casino sportsbook operations vice-president, had the following to say: “I think this is fantastic for the growth potential of the sports wagering industry. There is still nothing like watching the event in one of our books but we know that sometimes life gets in the way. The application keeps a customer in the game.”

The company revealed that the Sports Connection Mobile will be available for all customers of their Sports Connection Intranet product. Bettors with smartphones and tablets will also be able to use the new app, of course. In order to participate, punters need to be of at least 21 years of age, and make a $50 minimum deposit.
