Windows Phone 7.8 Release Date to Come in Early 2013

Contrary to the popular expectations, Microsoft will not be releasing the Windows Phone 7.8 upgrade in time for Christmas.

Mobile gamers will have to wait until next year for the much anticipated Windows Phone 7.8 update.

The Windows Phone 7.8 upgrade is supposed to bring lots of improvements and new features to the already existing Windows mobile casino tools. Many gamers expected the Redmond boys to release the upgrade in time for Christmas, but it just wasn’t meant to be.

Microsoft has officially announced the release of the much anticipated OS upgrade for the beginning of 2013. Although no specific date was mentioned, we can expect the Windows Phone 7.8 upgrade to hit the devices during the first weeks of new year.

The Windows Phone 7.8 upgrade is supposed to seriously improve the way mobile casino games are played on WP7 devices. Alongside the gaming improvements, there will be new colors for the UI theme, bumping up the total number to 20.

Also in the package are the new start screen, additional Exchange security options, possibility to resize the Live tiles, and much more. We will monitor the news and report back to you if we hear more on the official release date or the features of the upcoming upgrade.
