Strip poker is great, but there are plenty of other great games that can modified to involve stripping.

We’ve all seen raunchy Hollywood movies and advertisements. These would tell us that young, sexy people everywhere play strip card games, and they play them often. Forget casino table manners, prefer fun playing strip poker with friends.

In real life these games are not as common as we think (or we would like to think). That’s a crying shame. We’ve come up with several games perfect to play while removing clothing, some involving cards and some not.

The Cliché strip card game: Poker

When most people think of games involving stripping they think of poker. It’s the perfect game for it: you can bring in as many players as you like and go around in a circle while the person with the weakest hand has to take off an item of clothing.

Most people start off conservatively, offing the socks, then the outer shirt, slowing moving their way to more sensitive items. Then there are those who have no time for beating around the bush. Taking off the underpants first? It’s not easy to do without first removing the actual pants, but it has been done. I’ve seen it. Strip poker is the perfect way to pump up the excitement on a slow Friday evening, warm
up the cabin on a cold winter night or spice up a beach vacation.

The Classic: Monopoly

• Strip card games enjoy a lot of popularity, with poker being the most popular

• Non-card games also work well when the rules are altered to accommodate stripping

• Physical social games like Twister and Charades work especially well

This classic family game is perfect for almost any occasion. We’ve all spent entire afternoons bartering over properties with siblings and friends. Most of us don’t associate it with sex, but why not? It social, involves secret deal making (conspiring to make the sexiest people lose so they have to take off their clothes?) and lots of (albeit fake) money. What goes better with stripping than money? Literally nothing.

So the next time you’re having a mixed-gender gathering at your place and people are starting to feel loose after a few cocktails, don’t hesitate to reach for the Monopoly box. Maybe your grandma bought it for you for your 8th birthday, but she was always the open-minded kind of grandma.

Purely Physical: Twister

Once you give this a try, you’ll wonder how you ever played it without stripping. This game is best played with several (sexy) individuals. When it was released by Milton Bradley in 1966 the company’s competitors accused them of selling “sex in a box.” The reasons are obvious. The game is played by spinning a wheel which tells you where to put your hands and feet. Before long you’ll be tied into knots and wrapped around those around you. This is fun while clothed, but even more fun while gradually removing clothing.

The virtual future of stripping: live dealer poker

Live dealer games offered by online and mobile casinos in Germany, the UK and Canada have become highly popular, and with good reason. You watch a real human croupier deal the cards via live stream. You can even interact with the other players. This is where the strip element comes in. It’s just like strip poker but it can be done virtually.

This is perfect for those looking for some sultry excitement this evening but not able to get a group of friends together. We don’t know of any online casinos that feature live dealer online poker, but we would our money that it will come sooner rather than later.

No props required: Charades

This classic humor game is great for any social gathering involving four or more people (usually two teams of two). You are given a word, and you have to demonstrate that word physically while your partner attempts to guess it. If they do so successfully, you get a point. If not, the opposition gets an opportunity to guess, potentially stealing that point. This game is usually humorous, but it can easily be infused with a sexy twist.

If the opposing team wins a point, you and your partner have to remove an article of clothing. Be bold! Take off the underpants first! The less clothing is worn, the more hilarious and/or sexy it becomes, as you physically must act out a representation of the given word. Imagine a naked guy or girl running around the room like a hippopotamus. Not my cup of tea, but I’m sure it’s someone’s.

Music + naked people = fun: Karaoke

We love this idea. Everyone loves singing, and everyone loves being naked. Why not combine the two? You and your friends can host a karaoke competition. Pit singers head-to-head, with the loser having to remove an article of clothing. Sure, it is inevitable that the judges will rig the game to make the sexiest contestants remove their clothes first, but there’s nothing wrong with that. Before long everyone will be singing naked. You can call that a successful evening.

World domination: Risk

This is much more intense than casino strategy games. The classic strategy game Risk is rarely association with sexuality. But we argue that it should be. 3-5 players start out at various points on the board and immediately begin building their respective empires. Before long players come into conflict with their neighbors and war ensues. To add a strip component, when you lose a battle with an opponent you must remove a piece of clothing. This is truly survival of the fittest, with the weakest players ending up naked and their territory seized. To the victor go the spoils.
