Win at Mobile Gaming and Gambling Summit Comes Just 9 Months After Jack Gold Launch

Less than a year after going live, Jack Gold Mobile Casino has won the best mobile site award at the Mobile Gaming and Gambling Summit in London. The mobile casino beat off some pretty stiff competition, but its unique feel and cross platform abilities netted it the award.

The iPhone and Android casino was set up by former Ladbrokes directors Ed Andrews and Mick D’Ancona, and Andrews was delighted with the win, saying: “We’re chuffed to bits to win this award so soon after going live. It is recognition of a lot hard work by both the team at Locus and our great suppliers, and it shows exactly why new customers are coming on board every day.”

Andrews continued: “We set out specifically to differentiate ourselves from the rest of the market and deliver a tip-top user experience — whatever device customers choose to use. To win Best Mobile Site shows we’ve achieved that.”

Jack Gold Casino was developed in HTML5, so cross compatibility was obviously a factor in this award. Another key to the win is the selection of mobile slots available. Unlike most other mobile casinos, there is no differentiation between online and mobile play, so a desktop gamer will have exactly the same top end experience someone will on the train home from work.

The casino went live after Andrews and D’Ancona set up Locus Gaming in the Isle of Man, specifically to launch this mobile casino offering.
