The mobile casino gambling specialist, Probability plc, has appointed an experienced independent Director to its board.

Mark Davies was a member of the founding management team of Betfair (LSE: BET), one of Britain’s most successful online businesses.

For ten years, Mark was responsible for Betfair’s external affairs and had responsibility for the company’s reputation and public affairs, consumer public relations and corporate and crisis communications.

According to mobile gambling news, During his tenure, Betfair developed from its founder team of 8 to become one of the world’s foremost sports betting providers. Mr. Davies left Betfair in June 2010.

Mr. Davies currently runs Camberton Associates Ltd, a strategic communications consultancy which advises corporate customers on reputation management through government and media relations. This business was founded by Mr. Davies following his departure from Betfair.

Mr. Davies is also Chairman of Integrity in Sport Ltd, a company which works with sports bodies to help educate mobileplayers about issues relating to corruption.

Commenting on the appointment of Mr. Davies, Graham Parr, the Chairman of Probability plc, said:
