Mobile Market Grows

A recently released study, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, conducted by the ISG shows 33% of US and UK residents consider themselves mobile gamers.

A recently released survey by the respected Information Solutions Group (ISG) shows that 33% of American and British residents consider themselves to be online gamers.

The results of this study are great news for the future of the mobile casinos industry in both countries as well as throughout the world
This is a sharp increase from just one year earlier, indicating that the general public is becoming comfortable with not only using the new technology but enjoy playing games on it.

UK is still far ahead of Americans, with 73% of the population indicating that they’ve played Mobile arcade games before, while only 44% of the American public concurred.

Hanover Sterling’s mobile gaming section chief, Mr. Robert Greenberg explains – ‘At this point in time there is not one other global industry that has a faster growth rate than mobile gaming. If the lumberjack industry grew at this rate, the world would have no more trees within three years.”

“It is truly a unique phenomenon in the history of mankind as to how quickly people from different traditions and cultures unanimously accepted mobile communication,’ added Mr. Greenberg, “It took close to two hundred years before people started believing that eyeglasses were not the invention of the devil.”

Mr. Dennis Ryan, EVP of Worldwide Publishing and the main force behind the survey remarks – “mobile casino games, mobile videogames as well as social games are currently the hottest sector of the gaming industry by far.”

“When more people begin moving away from the no-frills phones and smartphones become the norm, the entire process of finding, purchasing and playing mobile games will simplify and you will witness an even faster rate of acceleration,” concluded Mr. Ryan, who is definitely celebrating this happy news which coincided with this year’s St. Patrick’s Day with some traditional home cooked Irish recipes.
