Net Entertainment Sign Deal to Provide Games to Ladbrokes

Ladbrokes has announced it is set to launch a selection of online and mobile casino games from developer Net Entertainment, as the UK bookmaker looks for new revenue streams after a disappointing 3rd quarter.

The company have already selected a host of Net Entertainment’s Touch games for their mobile casino, with a number of desktop games set to follow. More games will also be launched on the bookmaker’s online casino platform on a regular basis throughout 2014.

Net Entertainment Managing Director Bjorn Krantz was delighted with the link up, saying: “Ladbrokes is one of the world’s leading betting and gaming enterprises and we are very pleased that our close cooperation to secure the efficient integration and commercial launch of a selection of our best of breed online casino games has been so successful.”

The UK’s mobile sportsbook and casino marketplace is very crowded, and Ladbrokes have been one of the recent sufferers, despite a spate of high profile adverts on national television. Instead, rivals such as Paddy Power, Bet365, and BetVictor have been leading the way, causing Ladbrokes to look towards new markets.

One such of those is Australia, with the UK bookmaker entering that market earlier this year, while they have recently teamed up with London based Chelsea Apps Factory to streamline their mobile offering. The main aim of the latter move is the highly lucrative 2014 World Cup betting.
