Interactive gaming company delivers 27.5% revenue growth in 2012.

Alderney-licensed interactive gambling operator NetPlayTV has published shining results for 2012 earlier today, posting a 27.5% growth in net revenue (to GBP 21.8 million) and a 470% increase in statutory profit before tax (to GBP 3.1 million).

The company operates casino sites, such as Supercasino and Jackpot247, which are also available in the evenings via several UK TV channels.

These online casinos may be played through TV and the internet, but mobile casino gambling enthusiasts are also being served.

According to CEO Charles Butler, 2012 was “an exceptional year both financially and operationally for the group. With key performance indicators and our broadcast relationships going from strength to strength, we are particularly pleased with the progress that has been made in line with our stated growth strategy.”

The company’s growth strategy included heavy reliance on the mobile segment, with over a third of all the new players signing up to play casino games being mobile and tablet users. As reported by the company, growth driven by iPad, iPhone and Android mobile gambling has consistently outperformed all other areas.

Many of NetPlayTV’s titles can be played on iOS, as well as many Android smartphones. These games range from the company’s popular Live Roulette and slots games for the iPhone gambler to Android Blackjack and Blackjack 3 Hand games.

“We enter 2013 with confidence as the group’s strategy continues to bear fruit. Building upon the strong start to the year, we look forward to continuing to drive growth and shareholder value,” said the CEO.

Indeed, the figures published by the company are a clear indication of the strength of the mobile gambling market and the success of the type of cross-platform models that NetPlayTV relies on.
