golfLa Quinta PGA Tour

The PGA Tour in La Quinta is gathering together 156 professional players, who will play with a different amateur partner each day on the three courses for three days.

The courses which players will rotate on are La Quinta, Niclaus Private, Palmer Private. They are roughly at the 7,000 yard mark to a par of 72 in the first three days and on Sunday the best players will play at the Palmer Private.

Brian Gay (51.00) will defend his 2013 victory, but Webb Simpson (15.00) and Zach Johnson (15.00) are mobile sports betting favorites this year. Keegan Bradley (21.00) is also ranking high on the bookies betting list.

Three possible strong bets this year

Some of the big odds this week that might make it into the gambling news are three players: Jason Kokrak, Fiery Kevin Na and Patrick Reed. Jason Kokrak is first up at 71.00 or 15.00 for place. Among his other strong performances last year he also hit 6 of his last 8 rounds sub 70 at Humana, reaching a top ten here in 2013.

Fiery Kevin Na is also at 71.00 or 15.00 for a place with his two recent top tens at Humana. The desert terrain will most probably be comfortable for him this year as he lives in Nevada.

Last but not least is Patrick Reed at 81.00 or 17.00 for place, who qualified six times in 2012 for the PGA Tour circuit, so this week might also be a successful one for him.
