The Peel region in Western Australia has two new millionaires after they won more than $1 million each at the last weekend draw.

Lotterywest announced this huge gambling news and urged the WA’s Division 1 winners to come into the Winner’s Room at the company’s head office and receive their checks.

The spokesperson of Lotterywest commented: “Word has spread that a winner could be somewhere in their community and the hunt is on.”

Each of the lucky players won $1,027,000 each from the Saturday’s draw and didn’t have to play online blackjack, in order to win big.

Huge excitement among the WA citizens after the draw

One of the tickets was sold at Miami Newsagency in Falcon. It has already sold two Division 2 tickets in the past two weeks and somehow there was a feeling that these wins were leading to “the big one.”

The manager of the Newsagency said: “People have been shivering while checking their tickets, hoping they could be the lucky one.”

It is interesting that the newsagency’s lucky Buddha was exchanged for a lucky frog last week. According to the manager, this gesture has always encouraged a Division 1.

The frog is given very high credits, as it is associated with the store’s past three Division 1 wins. The manager added: “He’s an ugly looking thing, but he does the trick.”

The manager of Nextra Forum West Newsagency in Mandurah, which sold the second winning ticket on Saturday, said that it had been a few years since the store sold a Division 1 ticket.
