Another company is ready to bring technology to the US once online gambling is legalized.

Elray Gaming, the online gaming subsidiary of consulting and marketing firm Elray Resources, has entered the mobile gaming sector by launching their product and technology development unit Elray Mobile.

The explicit task of Elray Mobile within the group is to develop and acquire companies dealing with both freeplay and mobile casino gambling technologies.

Considering the stellar growth projections for the mobile gambling market, Elray is following a smart strategy to establish a presence in this lucrative segment of the market.

Although registered in several jurisdictions where online gambling is legally licensed (e.g. Macau, London, Sydney and Curacao), the real jackpot for the company would be to enter a legalized US market.

While online gambling legalization has progressed on a state level over the last few months, with Nevada, Delaware and New Jersey leading the way, comprehensive federal regulations are still a long way off. Nevertheless, even this state-level legislative activity has opened numerous business opportunities, with companies vying for a role in the newly regulated jurisdictions.

Although online gambling is still practiced to a large extent from the home PC, players across the world – and especially in countries where online gambling is legal – are quick to use their portable devices to explore gambling on the go.

“With the industry naturally progressing towards mobile gaming, as seen recently with Zynga’s announcement to enter the online and mobile gaming sector, it only made sense for Elray Gaming to position itself as a player in the social gaming and mobile casino industry, and will work to develop and acquire operating mobile gaming technology companies to expand its breath, and portfolio,” said Elray Gaming CEO Brian Goodman.
