Winner From Barbados Claims J$173 Million Super Lotto Jackpot
Vincent HaynesVincent Haynes from Barbados received the equivalent B$3.29 million from the Lottery representatives after he won the Super Lotto jackpot in November 2013.
Haynes got his check from Denny Brewster, site manager for the Barbados Lottery. Sonia Davidson from Supreme Ventures Limited and Junior Smith from the Betting Gaming and Lotteries Commission were also present at the ceremony.
This amazing gambling news provides further information on the winning ticket, which was bought through a Quick Pick bet. The lucky numbers were: 05, 06, 19, 21, 31 and Super Ball 07, at the price of J$250 or BD$5.
Quick Pick bets are numbers selected by chance by the lottery system itself. Haynes got his ticket at 3K’s situated in the Super Centre at Holetown, in the parish of St. James in Barbados.

Vincent commented on his amazing luck: “I never used to check my lottery tickets but would leave them in the car and my wife would find them and check. For this one though, I just had a feeling and decided to check the numbers online with my son. I was so surprised to find that the numbers were the winning ones.” Additionally, he already picked a smart strategy how to invest his newly acquired money – he will build a new house.
The territories, which are participating in the Super Lotto in addition to Barbados, are the Dominican Republic, Anguilla, Jamaica, St Kitts and Nevis, Antigua, St Maarten and the US Virgin Islands.
